OPEN SINUS LIFTING

Open sinus lifting is usually performed with local anesthesia.

The lifting of the sinus area under the supervision of a dentist can be completed in an average of 45 minutes. In the open sinus lifting method, which is a painless procedure, the sinus area is reached through the gum.
The sinus membrane in the sinus area to be lifted is raised to the appropriate level. After the lifting process, the gap created in the area is closed by the dentist with hidden stitches by grafting and bone powder applications.
If the person has sufficient bone volume during the open sinus lifting procedure, an implant can also be applied in the same session. If the implant is to be applied in the same session, the treatment period may be slightly longer.
