Just like hair transplantation, the hairs to be transplanted to areas without sufficient beard or beardless areas that have occurred as a result of trauma are obtained from the donor area at the nape of the neck.
Then, channels are opened with very thin slits in the area where the beard or moustache area will be transplanted. The frequency, direction and thickness of the channels to be opened in such transplants are very important. Channels should be opened in the direction of the natural growth of the hair. The grafts taken from the donor area and used in the transplant are selected from single grafts. In this way, a close-to-natural appearance is achieved.

After the procedure, it is important to take liquid or puree foods for 4 days and not to make too many facial movements. The first wash and dressing are performed by our specialist on the 3rd day. Our patients can eat more comfortably from the 5th day onwards. Shaving with a machine or razor should not be done for 3 months. The transplanted grafts are first shed and start to grow in the 3rd month, increasing every month, and a visible change occurs in 6 months and completes the process in 1 year.
